Julian Lage Concert Live at The Downtown Palace Theatre | Los Angeles
Tucked away in a scenic ravine, the John Anson Ford Theatre feels like a hidden gem right in the heart of Los Angeles. Its unique Spanish Colonial Revival style adds a charming, almost nostalgic vibe that makes it stand out among the city’s many venues. Since 1971, when it became part of the LA Department of Recreation and Parks, it’s been more than just a place to watch shows, it’s a community hub. You can catch a wide range of performances here, from big concerts to local theater, often surrounded by lush greenery and a relaxed, open seating setup that makes everything feel more intimate and spontaneous. It’s the kind of spot where you might stumble upon a family arts workshop one day and then a star-studded concert the next. Speaking of concerts, if you’re in Los Angeles and looking for a memorable night, catching Julian Lage in LA at the Ford Theatre is an absolute must. The vibe is just right, casual, artsy, and full of good energy. To get there, just head north on Cahuenga, turn east on Fountain Avenue, and find the amphitheater nestled southeast of the carousel, waiting to host your next great night out.
